The Edo State Electrification Agency (ESEA) is at the forefront of bringing reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy to all of Edo State. Established in 1972, we have a long history of serving our communities and an unwavering commitment to powering progress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Development: Advising the government on policies to support electrification goals.
  • Infrastructure Management: Maintaining and operating state-owned electricity infrastructure.
  • Energy Generation, Transmission & Distribution: Working to ensure affordable electricity reaches everyone.
  • Capacity Building: Training and developing the skilled workforce needed for the energy sector.
